Legend has it that the empress of Heaven once granted a fairy peach to Eight Immortals. But the peach was later stolen by a fairy cow and half of the peach was eaten. The other half was deserted here by the Eight Immortals. Thousands of years later, the fairy peach has transformed into a stone, hence the name.
