This is the handwriting of Mrs Liao Jingwen, wife of the famous painting master Xu Beihong. In 1997, Mrs Liao visited the Major and Minor Grotto Heaven scenic spot and inscribed in her own handwriting the "Fairy World in the South" to show her appreciation of its beautiful scenery.
