The Minor Grotto Heaven, a blessed domicile of immortals, was discovered and named by Zhou Kang, a magistrate in Song Dynasty in the period of Chunyou (1247 A.D.). The grotto takes on the shape of an ox's horn, 28m in depth. It was covered by a huge rock that looks like a hill. The top of the rock can seat dozens of people. The inscriptions on the rock "The Minor Grotto Heaven" and "Fishing Chair" is Mao Kui's own handwriting. |
