Small Moon Bay

Small Moon Bay is located in the southeast of Dongtian Park Tourist Attraction, backed by Ao Mountain, facing the South China Sea, crescent-shaped to the front, is said to be the best place to enjoy the moon for the ancient Yazhou and named "Small Moon Bay". With the most pristine environment and lush natural vegetation, this area is a natural oxygen bar with a concentration of 8,000–10,000 negative ions per cubic centimeter. There are very few broken shell beaches here in the world, formed by millions of years of waves impacting shells hitting the seaside reef.

Compared with other bays in Sanya, the sandy beach of Small Moon Bay is not as delicate as Yalong Bay and not as long as Sanya Bay, but it has a rare, pristine environment and a quiet atmosphere. In particular, there is a rare beach in the world—a broken shell sand beach. In millions of years, the waves of the sea shell impact the seaside reefs, forming an important window to understand the marine system, known as the "Marine Ecological Museum". As the old saying goes, "A sand is a world; a grass is a spring and autumn; a leaf is a bodhi". Here we feel the perfect combination of the mountains and the sea in Small Moon Bay and appreciate the beautiful mood of Zhuangzi's "Butterfly Dreams Between the Mountain and the Sea".
