Nanshan Evergreen Pine (Oldest-aged Specimen)

       此树坐落于大小洞天景区不老松园核心保护区，毗邻“海山奇观”大洞天胜境。古树饱经岁月风霜，主干中空，分生五支枝干，舒展如掌，形貌苍古雄奇。北宋名臣丁谓谪居崖州南山，于《山居》诗中将其称为“绿桂”，为现存记载南山不老松最早的文字史料，距今逾干年。

       海南龙血树起源于白垩纪恐龙时代，生长极其缓慢，树木无年轮，难以精准测定树龄。依据野生古树直径年均增粗0.6-1厘米推演，该树树龄可达数干年。早在宋人题咏之前，它已扎根南山沃土，静观潮起山变，见证崖州人文更迭，是珍贵的植物活化石，为景区标志性珍稀古木。

2014年列入中国古树名录，2023年不老松园获评“中国最美古树群”。

       This ancient tree stands in the core protected zone of the Ageless Pine Garden within Dongtian Park, adjiacent to the Dongtian Park scenic spot of "Miracles of Sea and Mountain". Weathered by countless years of wind and frost,its trunk is hollow and divides into fivesprawing branches spreading out like an open palm, showing an ancient and majestic appearance. When Ding Wei. a distinguished ministerof te Northem Song Dynasty, lived in exile at Nanshan in Yazhou, he called this tree "Green Cassia" in his poem Mountain Dweling. This is the earliest surviving writen record of the Nanshan Old Pine, dating back more than one thousand years。

     IT was included in China's Ancient Tree List in 2014. In 2023, the Ageless Pine Garden was awarded the title of "China's Most Beautiful Ancient Tree Group".
